Meridith obtained her law degree following twelve years of education and experience befitting her eventual career in law. Meridith started as a file clerk at sixteen and progressed from legal assistant, to paralegal, to law clerk, ultimately becoming the licensed attorney she is now.
Prior to law school, Meridith spent time studying psychology at the graduate level. Meridith was certain of a career supporting people and impacting lives for the better. While her legal work supported her psychology studies, it also revealed the personal side of law. She recognized that being an attorney also meant supporting people who find themselves in need. Whether clients are in need of legal services for exciting or heartbreaking reasons, Meridith discovered that attorneys are in a particularly exceptional position to impact the lives of their clients. With that realization, Meridith decided to take a new path and utilize her study of psychology in concert with law school.
Once in law school, Meridith clerked at the Alona Cortese Elder Law Center at Chapman University. At the Center, Meridith worked with clients to obtain conservatorships, restraining orders, and estate plans, solidifying her desire to work in the probate and estate planning fields. Meridith now practices as an attorney with her father, primarily focusing on conservatorships, estate planning, and trust and probate administration.
